HarperLloyd Recruitment is partnering with a leading national commercial law firm to appoint a Paralegal into its high-performing Corporate team in Melbourne.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a sophisticated national practice working across Corporate transactions, Debt Finance and lending matters alongside highly regarded Partners and lawyers. About the Role
This role offers genuine variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work directly with banks, private lenders and large corporate clients.
You’ll be trusted to manage transactions, support major deals, and play a key role in keeping matters progressing smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support Corporate transactions
  • Prepare finance and transaction documents with high attention to detail
  • Run lending and discharge matters, including PEXA settlements
  • Liaise directly with banks, lenders and corporate clients
  • Assist with larger M&A transactions and due diligence processes
  • Manage transaction timelines, settlements and document execution
  • Maintain accurate file management and document systems
Who This Suits
This opportunity is ideal for someone who has:
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Paralegal in a similar practice area
  • Exposure to conveyancing, lending or finance transactions
  • Strong proficiency with PEXA and document management systems
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A proactive, commercially minded and client-focused approach
  • Confidence working autonomously and within a collaborative team
